Greatwall Group, a leading integrated manufacturer and exporter of prefabricated steel bridges, is proud to announce the successful on-schedule delivery of 5 units of 321-type Bailey Bridges designed in full compliance with Australian Bridge Design Standard AS5100 for a critical infrastructure project in Papua New Guinea (PNG). This milestone highlights the company’s robust production capacity, strict quality control, and expertise in delivering high-standard modular steel bridges.

The PNG project includes five customized 200-type Bailey Bridges tailored to meet AS5100 standards and local load demands: 2 units of 7-panel DSR2 (Double-Single Reinforced) Bailey Bridges with 3× high-shear truss units; 1 unit of 11-panel TSR3 (Triple-Single Reinforced) Bailey Bridge with EH chord members and 3× high-shear truss units; and 2 units of 12-panel TSR3 Bailey Bridges with EH chord members and 4× high-shear truss units. All components are corrosion-resistant, adapt to PNG’s tropical climate.

To meet the tight delivery deadline, Greatwall mobilized cross-department collaboration, unifying engineering, production, quality control, and logistics teams. The engineering team optimized designs to align with AS5100 standards and site conditions. The production division prioritized the project, using high-grade steel and hot-dip galvanization for durability. Professional third-party agencies conducted comprehensive safety testing, including load testing and welding inspection, confirming compliance with international standards.

Greatwall’s AS5100-compliant Bailey Bridges are ideal for PNG’s mountainous, humid environment, featuring modular rapid assembly, high shear resistance, and long service life. With over 30 years of experience, Greatwall specializes in prefabricated steel bridges, adhering to international standards and holding ISO certifications. Its integrated model ensures cost-effective, customized solutions and reliable delivery.

This delivery reinforces Greatwall’s position as a trusted partner for global infrastructure projects. The company remains committed to providing innovative, reliable steel bridge solutions, supporting regional connectivity and economic growth in PNG and beyond.
